The Grande Horizontale is a 40-foot Intermare37 motor yacht, built both for comfort and speed.
OUTDOOR AREAS:
Outdoor areas include the flybridge lounge area, the aft deck for al fresco dining, the bathing platform and the sun bathing area on the bow.
INDOOR AREAS:
The indoor lounge area seats at least six in case you would like to enjoy the air conditioning/heating and is decorated with artwork by Jean Cocteau, Hoyningen-Huene and the talented Maltese photographer Kris Micallef.
There is a small but equipped kitchen and there are two separate bathrooms, one with shower.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
In the classic, air conditioned interior, you have two cabins, one with a double bed and ensuite private bathroom and the other with two single berths which may be converted into a double bed. The salon table may also be converted into a double bed if necessary.
TOYS:
Feel fee to use the 2-person kayak to explore the caves or get some exercise. or use the provided masks and snorkels for underwater fun.
MUSIC:
As long it is not audible to other boats, feel free to use your playlists from Spotify on the boat’s sound system.
THE NAME:
The subtly saucy name of Grande Horizontale was a term given to the most sophisticated of courtisanes in nineteen century Paris. Much like yachts, while potentially ruinous, they provided intense and delightful pleasures in the meantime.
